There are many animals too.

This is a great, educational game for kids. Build, manage, and maintain the most healthy and vibrant zoo possible with over 200 animals, exhibits, and zoo materials. Plan wisely, and all of your animals will be happy. The scenarios are fairly simple. Creating animal environments is easy with the biome tool which simply puts all the necessary trees, rocks, etc. It's very nice game. If you search for something for your kids you should take that. It is fun to walk around and do the zookeeper chores. You earn money fairly slowly which, just like the first one, leaves you staring at the screen until you can afford to build or buy something.

It’s a simple, if utterly engrossing game with a concept that appeals to the kid in all of us. Old graphics but sweeeet. So many options, specifically downloading new stuff. I love Zoo tycoon 2. I played the original & the expansions & loved them as well but Zoo tycoon 2 is so much better. I really like the ability to build diagonically. The zoo looks much better with this ability. This game is really awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone.
