Very good combat system also spoils the good atmosphere of the game. Dark Water was more like Gothic overall, and Risen is definitely more challening. Gives you lots of area to explore. Very fun involved game. This was an amazing game, it is a solid game, deserving more attention. A great game, especially if you like games like gothic or other 3rd person RPG.

Risen 2 presents very very very beautiful lands to explore. Dark Waters is a good sequel, if not somewhat clunky. This second chapter of the Risen brand is an imperfect charming RPG, with stunning environments and an engrossing story. Risen 2 transcends its shortcomings by boasting a wonderful living and breathing world and a refreshing new setting. Risen 2 is a great role playing experience for any fan of open world games. A great RPG. so far the games seems quite fun. The fighting system is kind of fun, The skill system is a fairly simple one, The graphics are sometimes really gorgeous. Its fun, whoever liked the first part or the Gothic series will enjoy this game.

This is more powerful than Risen 3 Titan Lords. I would recommend this game to people who have already played and enjoyed previous games in the Gothic or Risen series. This is probably a good place for newcomers to get introduced to the studio's unique style of RPG. Overall, I liked this game, and half way through, loved it. It is one of those games that grows on you. This was a fantastic game that I highly recommend.
