The Long Dark is a Post Disaster Survival Experience. Experience is the only word that can be used to describe this game. Extremely atmospheric environment and especially weather effects. The story is set around a pilot that has crashed landed in the bitter cold wilderness of Canada after having had encountered a strange storm. The look style of the game is unique and special as it feels cartoonish. In The Long Dark, a survival & exploration game, the initial set up is quite simple. You can choose to begin your story from either the Mystery Lake or Coastal Highway and then maintain your health. Interested to see where the story mode goes when that is complete, but the sandbox mode is worth paying for already.

This is a very good and fun game, but survivalists should not mistake it for a bushcrafting game, and should not try to use a real-world survival. The Long Dark is an interesting game to me. This game is great! It really gives you the feeling that you are going to die. I highly recommend this atmospheric and dynamic survival game.
